I was born in Los Angeles and love living here. Traffic and crowds aside, I like the diversity/culture of LA. When learning an alternate route home I find joy in passing places of worship for every type of religion that you can think of, not because I am religious (I am not), but because LA offers something for everyone. If I have to be stuck in traffic, I like crisp clear days (yes we do have them once in a while) going west on the 10 and overlooking the city and seeing the palm trees on the horizon or driving up La Brea and looking in my rearview mirror and seeing the downtown LA high rises framed by the mountains. I consider myself pretty down to earth and usually get more excited about finding a great hole in the wall restaurant than spending a lot of money at the hip place to go. I enjoy nature - the mountains, the ocean, and wildlife. I like to hike and camp and enjoy a B&B or spa once in a while too. I enjoy spending time with friends, playing games (cards, scrabble, cribbage, pool), attending Bruin football games, watching the Lakers (win), working in my yard, biking on the beach, farmers markets, walking my dog, going to the museums, traveling (I have done some but have many places still to see and experience), attending plays, spending time with family and much more. When I first joined match I did think that the internet seemed like an efficient way to meet people, I have now adjusted that way of thinking a bit and believe with the right perspective, it is one way to meet people and like anything else in life, some you will feel a connection to and some you will not - and not always for explainable/concrete reasons. The good part is that this channel is a little easier to fit in with the busy life I lead.
